i think there is a role for academics to be advocates. And i describe in the book some of the both promise and challenge of advocacy work. I think co design has become a buzz word, but actually it's really fundamentally important. So designing your research project with your end uses as part of that. In terms of conducting the translating the research. Am, i mean, there's a few k key lessons are, man, the first is to ask the right question at the very beginning of the research. If your question's not relevant to a current policy problem, or you haven't engaged with a decision maker right at the beginning, you're much less likely to have have impact.
