HSBC's Largest Shareholder Accuses Bosses of Being Too Close Minded About the Breakup of the Bank
HSBC's largest shareholder is now accusing bosses of being too close minded about the breakup of the bank which they have floated yesterday. Ping and publicly called for the creation of a separately listed Asia business headquartered in Hong Kong. But according to this letter the board led by Mark Tucker the chairman and Alquind the CEO hit back publicly arguing that the breakup would be complicated risky and extremely destructive.
