It's estimated costs between er 99 billion and 232 billion to deal with the uk's nuclear waste. Nombh, you can see why governments might want to just leave it for the next government to deal with? Yes, you can. The counter argument is, if we spend the money now, we'll save, save money on it in the future. It's a reason why i'm really passionate that we talk about this. At the end of the day, cleaning up the legacy waste in the u k, it's the taxpayer's burden, all of us paying for this.
