A colleague of mine at the firm, whom i helped get a job, died by suicide. Id struck me as like, how is this happen? And how could someone have access to a gun and in a really quick moment, take her own life? I knew that i didn't want to stay in private practice. And i anded up looking out there and found this job. It's been a rewarding, sometimes frustrating experience, but i never forget why,. why i started with this.
You might look at school shootings and think “Yes, obviously.” But two people who have been studying and participating in the movement for decades explain how its success isn’t obvious.
