Thriller was the best selling album for almost half the year. For 23 weeks, spread over the year, thriller was Tops. The top five were made of a Flash Dance at number three and down under by men at work at number four. 1983 is interesting as when you look at the top-sharing songs, we've got away from any disco-related songs.
