Should We Be Doing Double Blind Reviews?
This brought on a big discussion of should we be doing double blind reviews? Blinding review, blinding review is hard. And it's one of these places where what we wish to happen as an outcome runs into the messy practicalities and strategies of being able to get that. I've obviously talked in this venue many times before about how poorly blinded papers that I've received before have been blinded. To do it well in many circumstances becomes very serious editorial work.
