"I didn't grow up in M&A, I came to it later. It wasn't like I had this long history of a big four consulting type role," he says. "For me, a lot of the folks on my team do have that kind of expertise." He would love to have some opportunity to have people grow into M&A leadershiptype roles and educate yourself,. But definitely, it takes the work learning more about valuations, learning more about to deal with this.
