Introduction
The Senate is looking to give Taiwan $10 billion in military aid. The money would be given as foreign military financing, a State Department program that gives foreign governments money to purchase US weapons. It does not sound like much when we're talking about Ukraine, but $2 billion a year is a lot of military aid for the US to hand out each year.
