"I have long maintained that anyone who can in their 20s, if they can live in New York City, should live there," he says. "It surprised me how quickly you can make friends and people who really have nothing in common with you just because you both have this plan of like traveling and seeing and doing a bunch of fun stuff" He was spending $20 a night staying in hospitals to learn about the different cultures around the world.
