The Liberal Democrats' Response to the Local Elections in 2019
Lib Dem leader Ed Davies said he had a smile like a Cheshire cat after the local elections. The party has made significant gains on top of what was already a pretty good set of gains, despite unraveling of tactical alliance with Greens. They've seen that off even though they don't have screen lines and Rishi Sunak is not Lib Dem friendly. But question remains: What are Liberal Democrats for other than being a way for rural poor and posh to vote against Tories?
