The 11th shot was fired on Friday, October 11th at 9.30 a.m. The target was an Exxon gas station near Fredericksburg, Virginia. Police received what looked like a promising tip from another Home Depot customer named Matthew Dowdy. He described a white or cream-colored van with a burnt-out rear light. But there was more to the story as law enforcement discovered in reviewing the Home Depot's security camera footage. And they realized that this was a false lookout and that false suspect information turned out to be a hoax.
