Complementarian Versus Egalitarian Debate

The idea that it's only in the very modern world that women have been able to do things independently is simply a modernist rant. Of course, they made mistakes in the past, but there were many very independent-minded women. And just as in my country, we look back to people like Queen Elizabeth I in the second half of the 16th century who held the country together at a very difficult time. So it seems to me that the wider Complementarian versus egalitarian debate really needs to be parked so that we can talk about the actual issues of being male and female.
