"I've been, you know, seeing a shrink for 30 years. That's better than anything I ever heard," he says of his parents' relationship. "You have to believe that they love you ... But then when you grow up, you're like, why am I a twisted emotional freak? Right?" He adds: "When you're a kid, despite whatever your parents are, however crazy or however abusive or whatever it's going on, it doesn't matter."
