Is There a Tax Free Zone?
The common denominator for most ones is that there's some fiscal incentives. You have almost everywhere no import tariffs for capital goods and that kind of thing. The degree to which you have the tax benefits varies. Some zones open up entire new markets, entire new j arbitrage opportunities that wouldn't exist otherwise. There are also a number of other regulatory benefits that you can get in zones.
