The Importance of Peer Feedback in Game Development

I think I definitely don't play test enough with non designers. Most of the people I know are other game developers and I generally like trust their feedback. Even though I think maybe I would have definitely benefited from play testers who weren't in like the design space. Just like feeling like a lot of people just felt like the game was a bit too punishing.
