It meant that, you know, you could have all these new social behaviours built around it. All items became worthless overtime as characters kept levelling up. This is a kind of item inflation or power creep where slowly everything else gets more powerful than the most valuable items. And so the economy can always continue to roll. That's when i, as a player, got to finally see, oh,. there is no end to this game, right? There is no goal post. The game will keep printing new more powerful items to chase
