The lifestyle business is used very pejoratively when most people would be very well served by a profitable growing business. "We were really good at selling people on like the vision and we oversold before," ButcherBox CEO says of his company's start-up days. The problem with VCs, he adds, is that they're pattern recognizers who don't have a lot of time to look closely at your deal.
