The Pandemic of Polio and the Open Society Foundation

I think it's made the Open Society Foundation's work much harder. I'm very worried about that, that a lot of countries have really great acceptance of vaccines. In Pakistan, the CIA used a vaccination campaign not to vaccinate kids, but rather to see if Osama bin Laden lived in a particular compound in a bottom pod. And that hurt vaccines and vaccination. It took us three years of working with Muslim leaders where they would visibly give the polio vaccine to their kids so we could get polio out of Nigeria.
