The Value of Optimism

I think that quality material or more original material could find an audience if the system was set up to support it. I would rather people optimistically be trying to make mass culture entertainment that is good than you're using their problem solving brains to turn yachty into a Blumhouse inspired horror movie. The story of the state of the industry is only as is only valid until the next thing comes out and can change completely. There's good stuff. There are talented people. And I don't think all is lost, but I do think that we are losing a lot with the hyper focus on really telling the narrative story of brands.
