Is There a Gerardian Explanation?

Gerard sees right-wing reactionary totalitarianism as Satan. Gerard thinks that this progressive hypocrisy is so dangerous because it naturally corrupts the right values internally and engenders the other value. And to make this historically, I think both alarming as well as relevant, Hannah Rent in the origins of totalitarianism asked how could the German intelligentsia have sided with the Nazis? Heidegger's answer was essentially woke capital: The liberal bourgeois capital of the Nazi era weren't so much attracted to the Nazi message but pushed towards something like private morality for their own sake.
