Is There a Labor Shortage?
The key message here is that employers are in a position right now where they can hire, and they want to hire. The most recent numbers we've seen with job vacancies are that thereare over a million job vacancies in canada. There have been nursing shortages going on for a long time, and there's been immense need. Another thing as well is that we have had simply much lower immigration for most of the pandemic. And so that's going to make it a little tougher for employers to find people.
