Owning Digital Content Without Owning the Copyright
In the traditional art world, when you buy a painting, you own the physical painting. But it doesn't make sense to say you own digital content unless you own the copyright. There is no such thing as ownership of digital content without owning the copyright. And so we have a system with nfts in which you're buying the nft. You own the token, but you are not buying and owning the digital image that the token points to.
