The Origins of Astrology
The main principle is every generation of astrologers will take astrology and shape it in certain ways that it begins to reflect back to them the meaning and topics that are relevant in their own lives. And so in the process of that new meanings get added in old meanings get tossed out because they're no longer applicable. But in order to keep the essential core principles of astrology have some vertical integrity uniformity, we need a measure for how well those significations conform to what has been there before.
