How to Grow Strawberries
You can also grow strawberries in rows on the veg patch. Space plants about a foot apart, plant them one year and if you get some fruit that year, consider it a bonus. If frosty weather comes, put some fleece over your strawberries when they're flowering. Berry is only as big as your thumbnail, but lots of them are beautifully tasty.
