The Importance of Writing Fiction
The glue for me was partly the powerful flame but also partly the synthetic sari, you know, just catching fire. I suppose that's my visualization of what it must have been like for this woman to realize that she was on fire. The beautiful thing about writing fiction is you can do all these things. You can even go to the dead and report back what things are like. Most people don't see that but in a big, busy, general hospital. There are sites that you leave work and you feel that you have nothing in common with anybody you see because until they've seen that site there, there's just nothing you can relate to them.
