What's the Public's Mood in Russia?

Russia is not a country of Moscow. It's a very centralized country, but it's also a country of regions. And regions do matter. I think that this part is also missing because there are some regional media and some brave journalists in the region that still try to produce these stories. But it's increasingly hard. The problem for Moscow intellectuals, including myself, was always to try to get out of the Moscow garden, or boulevard, or ring bubble and go to see the country. So you start thinking, what is the feedback loop, how is what getting into the folder that is landing on the table?
