Jesus Mother Was a Punk Rocker

The Magnificat is an anti-capitalist song. It doesn't really pull any punches the fact that it's coming from the voice and throat of a woman too again whether you want to believe it as like literally what she said or placed in her mouth by the writers later who are recording that in and of itself is revolutionary also. In Jewish tradition we have these amazing songs of Hannah of Deborah of other four mothers, Miriam of Zipporah during the Exodus. God doesn't really mind upending all of it and I think because it's a revolutionary song it should make us tremble.
