Numenar - The Art of Abstract Combat in D and D

Numenary uses abstract combat. It does not have fixed distances for things like movement or for the range of weapons and things like that. And running games like numenara, it shows that you can take that system and bring it back into d and d if you want to use abstract maps. A lot of my ideas for theatre, the mind combat that i've promoted for fifth edition d and d, i got from games like newmanera. I love re skinning giants, cause they're so straightforward and simple. This game teaches us to do that.
