How Did You Start Altimeter?
I was intrigued by public markets my entire life. I put myself through law school and business sghool really kind of day trading stocks. And then i had the great fortune of paul entrusting me, really to build a tech cross over business there. We didn't call it crossover at the time, but it really reminded me of the throwback partnerships that buffet and munger had. It was simply a good investment or a bad investment that had certain liquidity characteristics as to whether it was public or private.
