Do You Have a Degree?

I was the first person in my family to go to college, but there was a sort of moral judgment. This idea that there's something wrong with you if you didn't go and that the government's failed you if it didn't enable you going to college is nonsense. I live in North Florida and you see everywhere people who work with their hands, roofers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, HVAC guys. The guy who earns the business has loans. Why not write off those loans? That guy was just as affected by COVID, probably more actually than many students. People would laugh if you said it in Washington DC.
