A lot of the tests are written using the public API, which is totally awesome and allows you to do stuff like that. But in turn, we have been able to do that with the rewrite to make sure that both versions of React pass all the same tests. And then another thing that was enabled by this was running the majority of our tests against the actual built bundles versus previously, we were requiring a bunch of internal modules directly.
