Introduction

BRC 20 is built on top of order nodes and order nodes are basically describing data on the Bitcoin chain. There's only one open-source indexer which Unisad's runs as part of their marketplace for BRC 20. If it goes down, then basically the entire ecosystem cannot find the latest up-to-date state of who owns how many tokens. And there's no decentralized consensus as to what are the rules.
