Xerxes and the Akimani Persians

When the Akimani fleet approached the sea ports of Athens at the strait of Salamus the Greek naval fleet retreated into a narrow strait of water. This was an absolute unforeseen disaster for the Akimanids, they had been drawn in and trapped from these treacherous narrow waterways.
