Erdogan's 20 Years in Turkey
How did it get so bad in Turkey? I know that's a broad question, but I ask because Erdogan has been around for now 20 years and he was prime minister first and now he's president. What changed for Turkey to see the day that it's seen today? Well, there are a lot of reasons; one line of commenting or thinking about Erdogan that I will not adhere to is the following. Did he always have ulterior motives? I don't really see anyone asking this question of Viktor Orban, who was the poster child of liberal democracy in Hungary back in 1989.
