Protestant conception affirms that with creation, the direct revelation of god is given in and through the things that have been made. Even man n as image bearer is a revelation to himself of god. Man has every resource at his disposal to sustain the terms of the covenant. And that is an absolute benevolent provision of god. Our god's not cruel. He doesn't say, here, keep this covenant. Oh, by the way, i'm not going to give you the resources to do so. That is the cruel and freakish god that bart offers us. Don't believe in him. I realize people get really touchy these days.
