Are Foreign Investors Treating Africa Right Now as a Big Opportunity?

Africa's share of global foreign direct investment tripled in the last two decades, released prior to the coved crisis. The direction of that investment has also shifted, diversifying away from raw materials into manufacturing and services. This suggests that we're moving away from the extractive pattern of investment in africa to more broad base development. That the problem is that though these trends are all in the right direction, but they're just simply nowhere near adequate.
