The Power of Expectations to Construct What We Experience

Our perceptions or our expectations shape how we view the world. If you expect to find in the world evidence everywhere abounding that God exists, then you'll find it. Similarly, I suppose if you have a an optimistic worldview and you expect the world to actually feed that back to you, then that's what you receive. We might bring to bear some kind of unrecognized arrogance in our ways of seeing because we don't recognize that they are dependent on our own particularities of our own minds, brains and bodies.
