Recognizing Authority and the Role of a Good Priest

This chapter highlights the importance of recognizing the authority of the Church and the role of a good priest in guiding people towards Christ. It emphasizes the need to rely on reliable sources and interpret scripture and tradition in line with the mind of the Church, while cautioning against following the Magisterium of certain individuals. It also discusses the objective and subjective holiness of ecclesial authority and rejects the binary between traditionalism and progressivism when thinking about the pope.
