Spotify's Compromises With Art Basel
The same issues definitely happen in the art world where like for instance if you're trying to make a proposal for an art fair booth. There's actually a lot of rules about what the images on Spotify can look like and how tightly they control even third party creators of playlists. The problem with Spotify is that it pretends as though it's a super egalitarian super DIY space which it obviously isn't even the aesthetic of Spotify.
