John: One thing that I just noticed is that since the, uh, tense is marked on the nouns, the verbs are actually conjugated for intention. You can imagine using the verb form to try to love to describe your relationship with a family member or a friend who's difficult to love. There's possibility for those possibilities to have all kinds of idiomatic meanings. It makes more sense than the word accidentally eat.
