Shallow exclude is a way of excluding branches that are not reachable in the main trunk. Public GitHub has a limit on how large its push can be, and you can use git hub to do larger pushes. The commit idee command lets you name your remote repository as if it were an origin. You're going to push that branch up or down depending on what's being pushed.
