If you are happy with your investing portfolio right now in september, you should be happy with it in the middle of november, regardless of who wins. There's just not so much history that goes against doing that. Strong political beliefs that influence your investing decisions, i just so often turn out wrong and regrettable. It's just now, if you are a long term investor, they means you are an optimist. And therefore, what's going to happen to politics in the next four or eight years is not going to have a tremendous impact on that.
