Gut to Brain Access: A One Way Straight
Most people would think that the gut to brain access is a one way straight, you know, and it is certainly not. And my argument would be that it's certainly either equally both directions. We know that when you stimulate the vagus nerve, you're basically sensitizing it and you're improving its feedback system and its output system. It doesn't really matter what you do with the gut; it has to function to work as a sensory system. But I think that if you're a clinician out there can really wind a work in gut tobrain access kind of medicine, which is kind of a new field, you need to consider both directions.
