How to Talk to Yourself About Your Body
Sally Kohn: How you speak to yourself should, well, I don't like to use the word should because that's sort of obnoxious. But ideally, using a voice that you imagine your zazza would use on herself. If you could hear her, when she grows up, that's the voice we should be using with our selves and when we talk about our relationships. She says part of why becoming a parent changes your brain is because all of these things come into play. "You can be aware of them and make your motivated to change things about yourself that you never would have given attention to before"
