The Power of the State in China

The line blurs very quickly between what is private and what is state interest. The Chinese Communist Party, more than potentially governments in the UK and the US, do have interests in specific companies like Tencent. Blacklisted people who have a low credit score will be put up on billboards to be publicly shamed for being untrustworthy. Taylor Swift was using facial recognition to spot stalkers as they were going into events. Follow the story as it continues.
