Is Devotional Worship of God Real?

Worship of god or brahman seems irrational from the point of view of adwida. If we engage in traditional worship of god, then we are defacto worshipping ourselves - absurd. Even if sakiam were non lying or sincerity, having mutually contradictory practices would violate the yoga pathas the yogi path as well.
