The Importance of Otto the Great
Otto established the Holy Roman Empire and a system of government unique to it. He also made members of his own family dukes, on the idea that blood is thick and water. In 955 he met the modules in battle at Lechfalt, and won a crushing victory. His successor Henry the Fowler is much more effective but despite this, we'll get to talk about Otto the first.
