In retrospectives now, I think we should actually be really concerned about trying to gauge and ask people how much actually true UX work are we doing? That's a good point. In some teams I've worked with, especially when trying to mature them, then I've written on the wall on the whiteboard or even brought up a daily meetings. How many days it's been since we last talked to a user? Because if it's in a mature organization, it's going to be zero all the time but it's often not.
