The Role of Sex Work in the Porn Industry
The social stigma around sex work is real and that it is difficult for people to branch out into other careers. The porn industry does not operate in the same way that it did say 20 or 30 years ago where people could really make a full-time living out of performing in porn. Today, there just isn't money in the commercial porn industry. So people are doing a lot of different things, a lot of hustles are working in this gig economy,. Doing different forms of sex work, doing different forms of work outside of sex work - how to best make a living.
