The Measure of Spiritual Advancement
The course is really saying that when we don't make exceptions to the application of these teachings when we have that level of faithfulness that's spiritual advancement. There are interestingly places in the course where he says he associates lack of exceptions with spiritual advancement. The main one that I think of is where Jesus says it is possible even in this world to hear only that voice the voice of the Holy Spirit and no other.
